| Immersed in the River Park
"Nera-Velino", surrounded by medieval castles and abbeys, it is completely
renewed and furnished with reception, restaurant, bar, foodstore, viedo games room, public
telephone, bath and shower. The price at each emplacement also includes electric energy and hot shower. Stillness, shade and coolness distinguish this camping enfolded by greenery just 50 metres from Marmore Waterfalls. It makes an ideal starting point for people who wish to visit Umbrian surrounding country and its natural and artistic attractions. Not far from here, we find out Piedluco Lake, which joins with its beautiful natural scenery several sporting equipments: first of all, the Rawing Centre, which is important at an international level; it is also possible to practise windsurf and trout fishing. Rafting is organized on the rapid of the Nera River. River canoeing and slalom canoeing are practised on the Nera and on the Lake Piediluco. Trying, daring, seeing from close by: bird-watching, trekking, excursions and speleology (The Grottoes of Campacci, Pozzo della Piana, the Grotta Bella, Abyss of the Chiocco), transforming a simple walk into something complete. For tourist cyclists and mountain-bikers this area offers many trials away form main roads. Camping Cascata delle Marmore is open since Easter holidasy until October. |
